Tratas is the esoteric side project of Australian psychedelic and progressive band, Lucid Planet. Originally created as a place to explore new ideas and styles that wouldn't quite fit into the Lucid Planet universe, and eventually becoming something we are very proud of and feel tells an important part of our story.

As is the case with Lucid Planet, everything you see here is 100% created by the band, from the music, production, website, visuals, merch, even the artwork this time around was done by Michael (Drummer). Not only does this give us the freedom to create without any constraints or limits but it also means that 100% of the profits from this website go directly into funding the bands and allows us to keep going.

‘The Strangest of all Guests is at the Door’ is a full legnth album. Created during an intensely creative and memerble time living together. We created our own soundproof studio and jam room so would play together for many hours most days and this album is the culmination for this transformational period.

A lot of the techniques and creative fluidity went on to be very formative in our writting approach on Lucid Planet II.

A collection of tiny little treats. Too short to be an album, but too long to be an EP, we had to make this one a bolm, and we have never looked back since. From the moment we heard the first ride hit on the first song. We all turned to each other and said 'My god we've done it' we knew we had created a fantastic bolm and something that would last a lifetime.

This bolm was written when we went under the band name ‘Natas’ we have since evolved into Tratas that’s good

This is the perfect way to follow the journey that the album undergoes, it is designed to allow the listener a way to remove distractions and give their full attention to the music and art that went into creating the experience we invisioned for the album
